User Registration Settings

Configuration of the options in the ContentWelder registration screen are located in the User Registration Settings component. Refer to Sign Up for New Account for details on the sign up process for new users. In addition to ContentWelder registration options, Administrators can configure and then select messages that will be sent to users once they are approved. The option to send messages advising Administrators of users requiring access and approval is also available. Refer to User Registration Settings for configuration information.

Sign Up for a New Account

Users who have been approved to use the system can register for a new ContentWelder account from the log on screen. With the "Sign up, it's free" button, users can add their log on credentials. Refer to the Sign Up for New Account section for additional information.

Password Management and Settings

Configuration of ContentWelder user ID and password settings has been added to this release. Administrators can set user ID and password criteria such as character length, case, etc. In addition, Administrators can set password reset link expiration and lockout attempt time frames. Refer to the Password Settings section for a list of user ID and password settings and configuration information.

User Account Management

Users can reset expired passwords and recover forgotten user IDs and passwords in the dashboard. Refer to the sections below for additional information:
